Lately, in California people tend to talk about "What spirit Animal are you?" or more precisely "What is your spirit Animal?"
For me, this sort of thing is not just a fun lark but more serious. Because I actually studied with a Blackfoot Sioux Medicine man named Crow and later a Karuk Medicine man named Charlie Thom who was crazy wisdom like me "The Wisdom beyond Logic".
In 1983 I did under the tutelage of Crow near a place on the Trinity River some called "Eagle Cliffs" because the Eagles often came there. In fact, during my 4 day no water no food vision quest with the nearest human being at least 4 to 5 miles away on foot and with no roads at all for up to 10 miles away there on the South Fork of the Trinity River there in Northern California.
During the 1980s when I did this vision quest I saw my spirit Animal As Eagle, more specifically "Flying Eagle" which seemed appropriate because I am a soul traveler all my life now.
Crow said something interesting to me once which likely could be said of my mother who was a full intuitive too. He said, "You are just so clairvoyantly gifted that I worry about you. Because it is sort of like what it would be for most people to be on some halucinogenics, only you are there all the time."
I said to him, "My mother was like this too." And now my older daughter is like this too. But, somehow she is able to stay much more focused with this than I tend to. I think this is because I almost died of whooping cough and then Blunt Trauma Childhood epilepsy as a child. This is my opinion.
My older daughter has had no near fatal childhood illnesses like I have.
So, I realize it would be helpful to see myself now as "Strong Bear"
because I have very great spiritual and physical strength and endurance.
So, I'm pretty sure at this point that it is likely I will eventually see 90 or 100 or more like my ancestor, Captain David Hartzell in the northern Army during the Civil war who lived to 105. So, I believe he passed away in Kansas during the 2nd World War.
If I also live to be 105 that means I would live until 2053 or thereabouts.
