Thoughts on American Ultra

I have been thinking about "Veiled or hidden Memories" in all of us in our lives. Whether it is from Television or media or from actual experiences, we all have some "hidden memories" either put there through subliminal manipulation by crafty advertisers or by parents who want to censor our memories or by Governments wanting to give information tailored to the needs of government.

So, in the end of all this "What are we to believe?"

Can you trust the government? any government?

Probably not.

Can you trust your senses?

Yes. If you have a good diet and are not an alcoholic or a drug addict. Probably yes.

But, this is one of the many reasons it is hard to survive to be 25 or 30.

In the idealism of youth one often expects things to be better or more truthful than they actually are in all people and on TV and in all ways.

However, real life is a hodge podge of conflicting information. So, how does one navigate all the half lies, full lies, people religious but manipulative, sexually desiring you possibly while holding alterior motives and fantasies you might not be aware of etc.

So, when you see the main two characters in American Ultra at first you think Mike is a victim. But then you see that Kristen Stewart doesn't see Mike as a victim but as a useful weapon and also her hero in many ways. Because Mike is a very kind man who has been psychologically manipulated but also has survived the manipulation quite well.

So, whether your government does something like this to you or a UFO group does this to you really what is the difference on one level?

They both are doing the same thing.

Can you trust the government?

Can you trust the UFOS?

Can you trust your parents and friends?

IT all depends on how lucky you are in the end.

Can you survive it all?

Will you survive it all?

Did you survive it all?

Being a survivor through all of this might be the most important thing.

I survived whatever I needed to in my life whether that was illnesses, religion, manipulation of various kinds etc.

One can get various forms of PTSD from religion, wars, illnesses or traumas of various kinds with very diverse results.

However, if each of us can find a way forward through it all, life can be good.

For me, moving away from big cities for awhile and home schooling my kids on 2 1/2 acres 10 miles from the nearest gas station and about 7 miles from the nearest phone line or electrical line worked for me for about 5 years. This healed a lot of wounds from growing up. Many are not as lucky as I am and are dead now who were my age. I've survived to 67 so far and am pretty happy with my life.

It is really hard to lose your friends and relatives one by one or in droves in some years like 2008. However, if you want to be alive a long time you have to be prepared to help bury most people you grew up with. This is just the way it is if you live long enough.
