How China's population has changed since 1950

  1. I think it is important to note that China would not be successful today without having gone to a 1 child policy. However, only 300 million (equal to the U.S.) have made it to middle class or above. So, they still have 250 to 300 million people with tuberculosis and then another 800 million people very poor and not very well educated.
