This article more than any other, I believe explains how upset Americans are about the problems they are facing here in the U.S. This also better explains an anomaly like Trump for President as well. If you are angry enough to drink yourself to death then all hope for you at least is gone.

Roughly 30,700 Americans drank themselves to death last year — the highest number in 35 years, a new study reveals.
And that number doesn’t even include booze-fueled car accidents or homicidal rages, which would triple the alcohol poisoning and cirrhosis death figure.
Why so many deaths? Blame drug treatment, apparently. When people kick one drug habit, they often turn to easier-to-get booze.
“They pick up where they left off in addiction,” says Patricia Allen, executive director for nursing services for Summit Behavioral Health. “They are not going to start with a couple of drinks.”
Last year more people died from drinking than from overdosing on prescription painkillers and heroin. Drug-related deaths totaled 28,647.
Besides those replacing one addiction with another, many people drinking too much are reacting to the stresses around them, including terrorist threats and the economy, she notes.
“We see professional people who can’t take it and drink,” Allen says.
The increase of deaths from drinking skyrocketed 37% from 2002 to 2014, according to the Centers for Disease Control.
