This is pretty obvious to me now. Unfortunately, around the world our election cycle masks the real problems in the world, especially problems having to do with everything in the middle east now. For example, Russia moved most people military wise out of Syria to do with air power but many others remain there still.
In regard to the U.S. what is happening through Saudi Arabia in Yemen is being covered up by the news also. Though it is true Saudi Arabia is an ally of the U.S. genocide is being conducted on Houthis in Yemen through U.S. drones and hellfire missiles used by the Saudis.
HOwever, I don't entirely blame the Saudis for this because if IRan wasn't aiding the Houthis and sending them weapons the Saudis would not be conducting genocide on Houthis in Yemen. So, it is a very vicious circle much like the vicious circle in Syria with the tables reversed where genocide of Sunni Families is conducted by Syria and Russia upon only Sunnis.
So, you have genocide against Houthi Shias in Yemen and Genocide against Sunnis in Syria by Assad and Iran and Russia. Right now, the middle east is a place of genocide towards all religions and peoples there by different groups.
This likely will continue the rest of this century until people start using birth control in that region so populations can be supplied with food, water, shelter and jobs once again. The unrest in the middle East is ONLY a symptom of overpopulation if you really study it in the end. So, it will continue as long as overpopulation continues there in the middle east.
And eventually if overpopulation is not addressed we could see the whole middle East a nuclear crater or craters by the end of this century or before. Getting rid of ISIS is only a symptom of the real problem which is overpopulation.
