However, it is also an indication of what is coming from robotics and programming. Basically, we are there where it is theoretically possible now to create a self evolving robot that gets away and starts redesigning itself in a remote location of an abandoned factory while pretending to be a human being as cover.

Most of the time when robots run away it is in military installations worldwide and if necessary they would be shot at with a cannon to keep them from getting to the public. However, I think it is important to realize now that it is only a matter of time before one or more get out of hand, get loose and start self evolving on their own. It's only a matter of time now similar to how it's only a matter of time before the sun has a solar flare equal to or exceeding the 1859 Carrington event which wipes out every microchip and magnetic storage device and hard drive on one side of the planet in an EMP event when it hits earth. It's only a matter of time, not if only when.
