We are witnessing the death of the Republican Party: at least as how it's been since Lincoln

As we watch the Republican party tear itself apart, we must realize it has been doing this to some degree since Reagan left the White House. Reagan likely was the last Republican President who will ever receive a majority vote on his first 4 years to the white house.

It is important to understand that Gore won the popular vote in 2000 not Bush by far.

So,  no president since Reagan has had enough Republicans to receive a majority vote when he was first elected in as president.

So, any way you look at it Republicans in relation to the presidency have been scrambling and desperate since Reagan.

That Republicans control both houses of Congress is not surprising because of the desperation among Republicans. However, the Republican desperation is bad for the U.S. because it completely constipates government and governance to the point where nothing gets done important in Congress anymore.

Because anything the Congress votes in pretty much is vetoed by the President who has been a Democrat for the last 8 years.

So, the chaos in the Republican party is liable to get much worse than it is now before the country figures a way forward that actually works.

And while we are going through all this other countries are manipulating our elections through people like Trump.

So, the Republican revolution is endangering our system of government at present.

So, this is something to consider as well.
