Possibly not.

However, this is part of what Putin wants. An ungovernable U.S. just makes his job easier of ending our democracy.

Our system of government has not been threatened in this way since it was threatened from the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962 until Nixon resigned from the Presidency in 1974.
