(Unless you are an anarchist and then you are going to be violently unhappy no matter who is chosen as president) I'm not an anarchist by the way.
I got to thinking about how Donald Trump might actually help the U.S. if he doesn't completely destroy our democracy first.
1. He will tend to strengthen our "Right to bear Arms"
(This is important because without the right to bear arms it is very likely that the whole world is going to be a single dictatorship within 50 to75 years of us losing the right to bear arms. I think I can safely say without Americans freely owning guns democracies will all end in short order.
Without arms our democracy could never have occurred in the first place. This might be important to think about and without an armed electorate our nation will be destroyed from both without and within.
2. He might help the U.S. economically to where more people have a livable wage. However, it is important to realize that this will mean also more people around the world will starve because of these actions. It is inevitable. As we do better more people will die and starve as a result. So, Americans in order to do better need to be able to live with this consequence.
3. We likely will NOT have a nuclear war with Russia any time soon because we are now a Russian protectorate at best. So, Trump might have avoided us all getting nuked out of existence both in Russia and the U.S. one day.
However, it also makes it more likely that nuclear weapons will soon be used in the Middle East just like illegal Cluster bombs and Barrel bombs are used now. The nukes will be used to end the lives of millions of people. This now is likely inevitable too.
4. Another consequence of Trump becoming president is likely to be the end of NATO and the End of the European Union and the slow takeover of more of Eastern and then WEstern Europe by the Russian Empire growing once again.
These are a few of what we likely have to look forward to in a Trump presidency worldwide.
I remember every president back to Truman. However, my first awareness of a president on TV was Eisenhower when my grandfather bought a big Black and White TV and we watched the Republican Convention in 1952 when I was 4. This was the very first thing I ever was allowed to watch on TV and it both impressed me and scarred me for life at the same time.
Later in 1952 my family moved to San Diego and then to El Cajon where I watched Superman on TV with my then friend Danny Barsox on his TV. My parents didn't buy a TV until 1956 because I was spending too much time next door watchin cowboy programs like Maverick, and the Rifleman and JIm Bowie and Bat Masterson and Davey Crocket on Disneyland on TV.
However, since I remember every president including the Bay of Pigs and the Cuban Missile Crisis, I also remember how awful it was when Kennedy was assassinated too. Trump being elected reminds me a lot of how awful it was when Kennedy was assassinated for some reason too.
There is this incredible Grief and a feeling of loss of rights for all mankind and the realization of just how many now worldwide are going to starve or die otherwise horribly in the next 4 to 8 years worldwide. IF it was going to be 10 million a year dying horribly likely now it will be 100 million a year dying horribly.
It's pretty inevitable now. So, everyone who has traveled the world like me knows just how bad it is going to be under Trump for the whole world. IT might get better for awhile for America's poor whites but for the rest of the world this is just a horror and nothing else.
