Last Week Tonight with John Oliver: America’s Cirque De Dismay

I have a feeling that the 2016 Election will literally take over news outlets and late show segments until 2020, also known as the year we can finally vote Trump out of office. John Oliver has had plenty to say about this election but is adding a little bit more.
He refers to the election as “America’s f*cktastic cirque de dismay,” and to be honest, I’m not disagreeing with him. He continues, “the big news this week surrounded Donald Trump- a punch line which is quickly becoming a nightmare.” Couldn’t agree more, Oliver.
Check out the full segment here:
John Oliver is known to have a strong opinion. He’s been known to ruffle some feathers. Hell, he’s even gotten on my nerves from time to time. But the one thing we can always agree on, is his thoughts toward Donald Trump.
He kicks off his Trump segment with bringing up the fact that Donald Trump’s businesses have had 3,500 lawsuits against them. Did you hear that correctly? 3,500. He then continues to talk about how controversial he is when it comes to people of different backgrounds, races, and religions. Nothing new there. But then he starts on Trump University…
Oliver shows a clip of a New York Attorney General, Eric Schneiderman, being interviewed on CNN. “It was a classic bait and switch scheme. It was a scam. Starting with the fact that it wasn’t a university.” That’s right. It’s not even a university. “Which is enough to make you wonder- what the f*ck is in trump steaks!?” And it only gets worse from there…
Will TV show hosts ever stop their Trump talk? No. Probably not. Not until Trump is out of the oval office (which he probably won’t even be working out of, seeing he doesn’t want to live in the White House…). Four more years guys. The countdown continues.
