These two times that I changed time illustrate what I'm talking about. I think I have learned more about this now. But, really who is to say really.
The first was in 1985. I woke up and knew if anyone drove that car that day that one or more in my family would die. So, I begged my wife not to drive the 1976 VW Rabbit which was one of the cars we owned then. But, she basically said, "Forget it! I have a business delivery and our daughter has a Saturday band Practice at the High School. So, I realized I had to pray really hard so no one died at this point. Because I was over 90% in knowing how serious this was. I prayed as hard as I could for an hour or so that no one would die that day. No one did.
However, the 1976 VW Rabbit was totaled within 5 minutes of leaving our house on a hairpin turn. They had a head on with a BMW which is a larger car. Our car was totaled. My wife had cracked ribs and my step daughter hit her head on the windshield against her ring on her finger and likely had a mild concussion from it. My wife compressed the steering wheel which cracked her ribs so it hurt every time she breathed for several months because ribs take quite a while to heal. However, no one died.
However, about 9 years later my wife (now ex-wife) and my step daughter really made my life hell. So, sometimes I wonder if I should have saved their lives. It's almost as if they would have been better as souls if they had both died that day.
In 1989 I had another experience. This time the Grim Reaper came to me in a Dream when I and my family were in Family Student Housing at UCSC. I was studying there at the time and my wife had been taking courses the previous quarter. But, when in a dream the Grim reaper held up to boney fingers I knew it meant two of my family might die. At first when I woke up we couldn't figure out what was going to kill people and thought it might be a nuclear blast. Finally we realized it was a big earthquake. So, the week we knew it was going to hit we flew to Hawaii to Hana, Maui and watched the earthquake on TV as it happened live and about 50 or 60 people died and all the houses between Santa Rosa and Watsonville were thrown off their foundations and others were completely destroyed and condemed by county and city inspectors throughout the whole area.
So, I had saved my family but by so doing it sort of economically messed us up. And this sequence of events eventually caused my wife and I to get a divorce within about 4 years time.
So, even though the two that could have died didn't it appeared the price of them living was our divorce which was difficult because I had a new daughter born in 1989 that need me.
So, when you change time and save lives sometimes there are consequences for doing that. Even if no one understands all this is above most of our pay grades.
So, the best you can do is pray when you know things are coming and ask for the Grace of God to be present so millions of people don't die like now.
By God's Grace
