What's more important than maintaining our Democracy? Maintaining the peace and preventing a revolution

For this reason I don't think Obama will release or declassify how badly Putin mangled the election and moved it to Trump in many various ways. Because he has an obligation to create a peaceful transition to power for many different reasons even if Trump wasn't legally elected president because of outside interference on many different levels.

I actually agree with him.

If we couldn't protect the electoral process we don't deserve our democracy anyway.

This is the truth.

IF we are not going to War with Russia over the destruction of our democratic process what good is a civil war?

It is bad enough the way it is.

Imagine thousands to millions rioting with all the bloodshed.

What good would that do now?

I think a better focus now would be:

No nuclear war with Russia likely for the next 20 years or so.

What good would 500 plus million dead people be on both sides?

I'm simply being a pragmatist here.

Idealists might take a different point of view.

However, would an idealists point of view prevent 500 million plus deaths?

And this would be an idealist Republican or an idealist Democrat or an idealist Independent.
