When Pakistan and Bangladesh separated from India

  1. I can remember as a child listening to the radio as we traveled long distances from one state to another about how people with machetes and pitchforks and rakes were killing each other by the thousands then. Many or most Muslims then were driven out of India by the Hindus who are the majority there then and thousands on both sides died then.
