Wiki Markup Language?

  1. One of my many well read articles quoted here is:

    • What a coded web page can look like
I found myself rereading this article today and thinking more about it. I realized since Wiki Markup language is easier to use than HTML.(This page in the above quote says this from Wikipedia) I realized this language which is easier to use than HTML could be literally used by any of you to write your own web pages too. Because if TCPIP reads it then it can be used as a web page maker anywhere. So, this might be the (similar to HTML) language to learn first because it is easier to use according to Wikipedia. So, I'm giving you some help with this by putting these links: word buttons to find out more about it.

    Begin quote from:

Wiki markup, also known as wikitext or wikicode, consists of the syntax and keywords used by the MediaWiki software to format a page. To learn how to see this markup, and to save an edit, see: Help:Editing. There is a short list of markup and tips at Help:Cheatsheet.
In addition to wiki markup, some HTML elements are also allowed for presentation formatting. See Help:HTML in wikitext for information on this.

The above paragraph is from "Help:Wiki markup-Wikipedia" link below. The "MediaWiki", the "Help:Editing" button as well as the "Help:Cheatsheet"might be helpful to read. Also for presentation formatting try: "Help:HTML in wikitext" for information about this too. Most of the word buttons (links) are in the paragraph above this one.
