Are we approaching an 1862 type California Megaflood?

The feeling I get is that it could be as high as a 50-50 chance at present but if we weren't being flooded out here likely it would be about 1 and 100 which is what it would be any other year.

But, I think people need to start planning for this potential outcome. I'm not into scaring everyone to death but preparing for this might just save your life if this is what we are presently in the middle of now here in California.
