I created these articles but hadn't watched this particular video on cars before. I watched it this morning and was impressed by the fact that they could print this for 7000 dollars. Though at present 3D printing does not lend itself to mass production it does lend itself to infinite customization of vehicles or almost anything you want to buy including cars.

 

So, for those who want a custom vehicle or anything 3D printing is likely the best new tool for this. They were saying automakers (the big ones) are using 3D printers now to create their prototypes which on just one saved $500,000 in creating their new prototype.
