Businesses worldwide don't want to admit vulnerabilty

The reason. They don't want to be successfully sued here in the U.S.

So, no matter what happens they cannot admit to having any problems at all. They have insurance for all these kinds of liabilities (the bigger businesses do at least). But, they are going to lie to you because this is how they stay in business (at least in the U.S. where people can sue each other at the drop of a hat for almost anything.

So, don't expect larger businesses in the U.S. to be honest with you regarding anything that happens to them because it isn't to their advantage to tell you anything.

So, no matter how many Trillions of dollars businesses lose over the Internet through various kinds of fraud and hacking you mostly aren't going to hear about it. Likewise, you aren't going to hear about when ATM cards and Credit cards cannot be used because of EMPS and solar events and geomagnetic storms either.

However, the first time thousands of people die in a geomagnetic storm equal to or superior to the Carrington event, you might only hear about thousands of people dying or not sometime in the next 500 years when most computers (including self driving cars, trucks, robots etc. all malfunction at once on 1/2 of the planet. Because jet planes have electrical assists in control surfaces this means all jet planes in the air when this happened would all crash at once likely putting out of business all airlines at once on that side of the planet hit by a solar storm that big.

The Solar storm of 1859—known as the Carrington Event—was a powerful geomagnetic solar storm during solar cycle 10 (1855–1867). A solar coronal mass ejection hit Earth's magnetosphere and induced one of the largest geomagnetic storms on record, September 1–2, 1859.
