As you can see by the 2017 stretch of 56 days without sunspots, it hasn't been anything like this since 2009. So, likely we are moving into a cycle of less sunspots for now. But, if we compare that to 2013 to 2015 there were no days without sunspots in 2013 and 2015 and only 1 day without any sunspots in 2014.
