Panther Meadows Spring on Mt. Shasta
Panther Meadows Spring on Mt. Shasta is sacred to 6 Indian Tribes in California uncluding the Shasta Indians and Karuk Indians and 4 others. It is also a sacred place to many locals and thousands to millions of people around the world. It is at the top of Panther Meadows up Everitte Memorial Highway on Mount Shasta. These photos are from Google Images under the heading "Panther Meadows spring on Mt. Shasta". This time of year the meadow is getting ready to be under snow for 6 months or more so it isn't this green right now as temperatures are dropping fast and it's below freezing likely almost every night right now at this altitude near 8000 feet on Mt. Shasta.
