If your software allows it on your device it is still possible to use Text based user interface which bascially means you write text (or commands) directly into your device to use it instead of using a mouse. When you use your mouse you are actually giving your computer commands of what to do through your mouse. When you use text to do the same thing (if your software on your device still allows this) you are giving your computer commands then through the text-based user interface.
