It's definitely been strange walking along the beach in 70plus weather while the rest of the country is freezing

and iguanas are even falling out of trees in Florida because they are frozen but hopefully not dead yet.

Yesterday I would have liked to walk on the beach here in  Coastal San Diego County  but our car and truck are quite a ways from us and underground in a parking garage and so everything (for living over 1 month) has to be carried  piece by piece down or up stairs a block or two to or from our vehicles. I brought two vehicles because our daughters would be here from about the 12th of December until around the 28th from Portland. They both flew home or to San Francisco last week. So, I have been walking a lot on the beach getting exercise and yesterday after rain it was very humid and warm. I couldn't believe how humid and warm it got in the condo even with the heater off just from solar heating by the way I had to put on shorts it got so warm because I was sweating. So, to hear about people dying from the cold and iguanas in Florida falling out of trees it just makes me realize that that climate scientists in regard to Global Warming and climate change were right.

We ARE possibly due for some kind of Little ice AGE the way things are going.

Another possibility is that the "Maunder Minimum" of the Sun going to sleep has already kicked in. One of the Scientists studying this said she thought it might begin in 2030 but could literally begin any time now as well. So, maybe it has already begun dropping temperatures worldwide.

This doesn't mean by the way that Global Warming and Global Climate change is over if this is true by the way. It only means that temperatures will move into another "Little Ice Age" for 30 or more years now.

Little Ice Age (LIA), climate interval that occurred from the early 14th century through the mid-19th century, when mountain glaciers expanded at several locations, including the European Alps, New Zealand, Alaska, and the southern Andes, and mean annual temperatures across the Northern Hemisphere declined by 0.6 °C ...
