Trump suggests arming teachers as a solution to increase school safety

I actually agree with this idea but only if the teachers are capable of letting go all emotions when things get bad. In other words they need to be trained to "take a bullet" if necessary in defense of the kids at their school just like police officers are trained to do. I'm not sure how many teachers are actually capable of this unless they have already served in the military or as police officers before.

The other problem of course is "What if a deranged or immature child gets a hold of their loaded weapon in school? So, maybe the weapon has to have new technology where it could not be fired except by the teacher as many guns are set up to do. Police often have this type of weapon that will ONLY fire when they shoot it because of their finger and hand prints being recognized by the gun.
