Why did people put their data in the Cloud in the first place?
The main reason is someone wanted their data under someone else's control.
People in the old days stored their own backups. Why would you give people your information to do with as they please from your private lives or business?
Normally, people wouldn't do this because it is insane to do this for 100 to 1000 different reasons.
So, just like Facebook the Cloud or ICloud is ONLY a scam to raid you and or your company of ALL your and your companies DATA.
If you think something different is going on, unfortunately you are wrong.
The ONLY real reason someone wants you to store all your data in a cloud is they want access to it (or their customers do).
If you care actually about your data personally or in your company you will NEVER NEVER NEVER ever use any Cloud or ICloud.
Because all your ideas written down there for yourself or your company will be used by those who access your data illegally or for profit or are a part of some government accessing all your data in the cloud.
How do I know this?
Think about this for a moment. When was the last time you gave the keys to your car to everyone on your block or everyone in your city?
Think about what I'm saying here. When . you put data in the Cloud it belongs to whoever gets a hold of it so just remember the Cloud an be literally (ANYWHERE around the world). It has only a 20 to 30% chance of actually being here in the U.S. (your information). Why?
Because Cloud storage is cheaper in places like Europe and India and Pakistan and almost any other country on earth than it is in the U.S. Why do you think your data is here in the U.S.? What gives you that impression? That there is some data from your Cloud here? Oh Yes. maybe 10% to 20% of your Data might actually be here in the U.S. with the rest scattered around the world in cheaper Cloud storage areas. Why would you think any of your DATA is safe from being messed with?
Because someone told you?
Unfortunately you really cannot believe anything connected to the Cloud or ICloud to be intact. What I mean by this is all your information might be intact with 100s of copies of your information in various hands around the world. How are you to know how many copies of your data there actually are? How do you know one way or the other? You might know if private information gets into the hands of your competitors and you go bankrupt in your company. This actually happens folks!
So, be smart, store your own data for yourselves and your companies in your own drives not connected to the Internet in any way.
So, at least your ideas will be more secure and not stolen by everyone on earth.
So, do I want my data backed up to any Cloud? No. Absolutely not.
So, what does that mean? Mostly it means I have to say "NO' to the Cloud every single time I pick up my phone. That's what it means. It also means that on my computer I will get messages like "Your computer has not been backed up to the cloud for 130 days or more. But, I don't want my computer EVER backed up to the cloud because I know I don't want that. So, I say "NO" again and again.
Because I actually understand what happens to all my information in the Cloud or the ICloud and I'm too smart for that. So, is the Cloud and is ICloud at least better about protecting my information?
I would say they are about the same in making money on your information, whatever it is. Do they have to tell you when they make copies of your data? No. They don't.
Because "HOW CAN YOU PROVE ANYTHING?" That's right. You can't. And you never will be able to.
Isn't this convenient for Cloud Companies around the world? They can have their cake and eat it too.
The Cake being your information! So, you pay them for Cloud storage and then other pay them for what you put in Cloud Storage so they get paid twice. And once again how are you going to prove it?
Whether it is the Cloud, or ICloud or Facebook or wherever, just try and prove any of it! Because you won't be able to.
But, for people who don't understand this and then they get identity theft and someone cleans out all their money from their bank accounts and wonder what happened.
I can say "Don't ever file your taxes on line and never use the Cloud or the ICloud for anything and don't ever do anything financial on your smartphone ever and don't have passwords for any banking on computers or smartphones you own or any other computerized device you own or have access to.
Otherwise, when you have identity theft or other financial problems, "Why are you surprised?"
The real point of all this is this. If you do all your banking at the bank only then they are responsible for any financial losses not you.
But, if you have bank passwords you use on your smartphone or computer or tablet and someone cracks your password the bank is not liable, you are. So, anything you lose money wise the bank WILL NOT Reimburse you.
So, just remember when something seems to good to be true it usually is.
In other words, "There's a sucker born every minute!"
This should be the motto of Facebook, Google and Uber and people who are "TOLD" to put everything in the Cloud and who do, "Because they don't know any better".
So, if you really technically understand what is going on in the Computer Tech World you don't give "Willingly" at least "Any" information to anyone unless you completely have no other choice that you can see.
And even then you might reconsider and find some way not to give it to them.
Because, why do you want people you don't know controlling your lives?
Because they don't care at all whether you live or die or whether your children or grandchildren live or die!
Why am I giving you all this information through a public forum?
Because I would like you and your family to survive this century intact.
