I can still remember 1950

even though I was only 2 years old then. I stood up in the back seat of my father's 1941 Blue century Buick that his brother bought new just before World war II began. But, Tommy an amazing pilot didn't come back from training on the first aircraft carrier trying to bomb Toykyo to scare them into withdrawing back to their country for awhile to buy us some time here in the U.S. Many died in this desperate Action to attack Japan to scare the hell out of them and it did. And it worked. It bought us some time when we bombed their cities with Dolittle. There were no seat belt laws until at least 1987 so I stood up in the back seat at age 2 with my father driving and held onto his front seat while he went around corners. I hit my head on the doorknobs when I lost my grip but it was a much more macho time than now and even then I knew I wasn't allowed to cry around my dad even if I got hurt. So, I stifled my cries in a stoic way even at 2 from injuring my face on the doorknobs to the back seat door behind my dad on the 1941 Century Buick. Tommy his brother had it souped up for racing and sometimes my father raced this car too, even if Mom and I were in it. Also, he did the same when he bought a 1956 Century Buick in 1956 when I was 8 years old in Los Angeles California. When I was 2 we lived in Seattle in Lake Forest Park then and I was born in Seattle.
