Patrick Melrose on Showtime?

I found out something interesting today. You can if you are On Xfinity through Comcast and have Showtime  at home you can also watch showtime through your Xfinity online when you are traveling. So, I guess that might also mean you can get programs on HBO if you are traveling and every other channel you get at home on Xfinity (Comcast) anywhere you are in the U.S. if you have a fast enough Wifi Connection or maybe on your phone with Cellular Data if you have an unlimited connection of Gigabytes like if you have that plan with Verizon or something like that?

I'm asking these as questions because I'm just learning about all this myself while traveling in Seattle at a hotel right now?

So, now I'm watching Patrick Melrose (what they hell is this about anyway?) Some guy is doing Heroine while his father is dying in another country and then pretty soon he is in bed with two different women (at different times on the same day in different places?) What is this about anyway?

By the way the first episode is called "Bad News" because his father just died. I started to watch this because I have enjoyed Benedict Cumberbatch's acting in various things including "DR. Strange". But I'm not so sure this is going to be something I can watch for a variety of reasons. Not Sure. Yes Benedict is a great actor but this is a real strange program so far.

I cannot watch this! This is actually the reason why most of us don't take drugs!

Especially when one of our parents dies!

It's bad enough without Heroin and Cocaine to deal with the loss of a parent!

It took me 13 years and almost dying myself to get over my father's death. So, I was 50 before I got over this. And I had a great father!

I suppose if you want to see how insane people get taking heavy drugs this might be useful and you can see what an incredible actor and how diverse an actor Benedict is. But why else to watch this?

It's just temporary drug induced complete insanity and near death experiences ongoing and that's all!
