Hypothyroidism simply means for one reason or another your thyroid glands

For me mine was caused by getting Giardia
In India and Nepal likely in the dust in the air then in 1985 and 1986 because often there was human feces in the dust in the air then because of not many paved roads or bathrooms available so people went wherever they could to survive the situation. So, likely in Katmandu at that time which was growing a lot because of popularity then from feces in the dust. So, even if you wore a hospital mask which some did in India then you still might get giardia just from breathing the air then in some places in India and Nepal. Well, my Aryuvedic nurse specialist told me this was very common for world travelers like myself. Any people who have been to 3rd world countries in the last century might have been exposed to giardia and this can cause both hypothyrodism with in 20 years and it also could cause auto-immune diseases she said.
Armour thyroid when I was first diagnosed was and is a God Send in 2006.My physical trainer from Germany realized what was wrong because she had had the same problem and also she had been trained in Germany as a physician's assistant. She also recommended Armour thryroid because if you find you can take it there are NO SIDE EFFECTS WHATSOEVER. This was my experience too. My depression from being hypothyroid immediately left and then I had to find the right dose of Armour thyroid to be on.

I personally think because you cannot patent Armour thyroid from pigs is why people won't approve it. Because the synthetic Thyroid has all sorts of negative side affects.
However, for me, I have never had even ONE negative side affect from Armour Thyroid ever. So, even though my medical insurance won't pay for it I am willing to pay 75 or 80 dollars per 30 tablets per month for NO SIDE EFFECTS WHATSOEVER!
So, if you are diagnosed hypothyroid I would try Armour Thyroid because you might not have ANY negative side affects like me.
I have been taking armour thyroid from the U.S. or from Canada now since 2006 (12 years so far) with ZERO negative side affects whatsoever.
So, as long as you are on a high enough dose of armour thyroid it is okay. BUT, if you are on TOO high a dose it is like drinking too many cups of coffee and you won't be able to sleep at all. So, this is how you know what dose you should be on.
Also, they know the right dose just by testing your blood when you are on the right dose of Armour Thyroid as well. They can tell if your dose is too low and you can tell if your dose is too high because you won't stop talking and you won't be able to sleep.
Also, you can buy Armour thyroid with a prescription from Canada too by mail. However, make sure you get 2 to 3 months worth if you do this. It's much less expensive to do this this way. However, I found getting 3 months at a time was problematic because even though they still worked the third months armour thyroid seemed a little stale so I would only buy 2 months at a time from Canada if you do this. I did this for a couple of years when the U.S. wouldn't sell it for some reason but now buy it monthly from a pharmacy here in the U.S. because it is fresher and I don't have to wait for it to go through customs from Canada into the U.S.
But, if you are strapped for cash and want no side affects like you likely will have with synthetic thyroid then Canada is the best option for Armour Thyroid. Pig thyroid is the closest to humans you can get because. It's almost as if pigs were once human beings and genetically altered maybe in Atlantis or something because they are just so close to human beings biologically and intelligence wise.
