...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM PST
WEDNESDAY...
* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to
10 inches, with higher amounts above 6000 feet.
* WHERE...In California, Northeast Siskiyou and Northwest Modoc
Counties and Modoc County. In Oregon, Klamath Basin, Northern
and Eastern Klamath County and Western Lake County and Central
and Eastern Lake County. Including Klamath Falls, Lakeview,
Highways 97, 140, 31, and 299.
* WHEN...Until 10 AM PST Wednesday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heaviest snow is expected Tuesday
afternoon through Tuesday night. Gusty winds will create
drifts and occasional whiteout conditions in exposed areas.
Plan on difficult travel conditions, including during the
evening commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
* Travel is strongly discouraged because of dangerous conditions.
* If you must travel, keep tire chains, a flashlight, blankets,

* A Winter Storm Warning means that severe winter weather is
occurring, and poses a threat to life and property. Take
protective action now.

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM PST
WEDNESDAY ABOVE 3500 FEET...
* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to
12 inches, with much higher amounts above 5000 feet, are
expected. Wind gusts to 40 mph will cause reduced visibilities
due to blowing snow.
* WHERE...Including Mount Shasta City, Black Butte Summit on
Interstate 5, Snowmans Summit on Highway 89. South Central
Siskiyou County.
* WHEN...Until 10 PM PST Wednesday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow level will hover around 3500 feet so
Mount Shasta could see periods of rain mixing in. Travel will
be very difficult to impossible. Be prepared for significant
reductions in visibility at times.
