Of course I'm also referring to "Sanctioned Galactic Timelines" and not unsanctioned "Time Fragments or Time shards that are not sanctioned by the Galaxy. I suppose beings could create literally thousands and thousands of timelines for earth but eventually they will all end because the Galaxy won't maintain them. And the other thing with a time shard is it doesn't take much to end a timeline because you don't even have to have a war or Global Warming or nukes to end a timeline. All you have to do is to have it end suddenly which is something the Galaxy is actually pretty good at.
From a Galactic point of view it is mostly about "maintaining the Time Tree" of a specific planet. The question becomes: "How can you keep the Time Tree as healthy as possible?"
Also, think about this for a moment. Let's say you have 1000 timelines with mostly the same people on each timeline just doing slightly different things and you want one timeline or 3 timelines instead of those 1000 timelines. How do you decide which timeline to keep?
That's the million, billion or trillion dollar question now isn't it?
