Archie Bunker never left

  •  He just became more polite mostly and didn't throw his point of view around so much once

  • it became a less popular point of view. But, he's still around today.
  • Often you can see it in people's eyes as you travel the U.S. When  I grew up most blue collar people
  • were Archie Bunker or close to it. They might not spout off as much as Archie (unless they were drunk"
  • but you heard their point of view everywhere in the 1950s and 1960s. They didn't go away they just either went underground more or they just died from
  • old age. Not understanding this is to be a fool even today. By the way most of the world is much much scarier than Archie's 1970s point of view. This is important to understand too for people who want to stay alive traveling the world.
