Game of Thrones is written from a male perspective mostly

Why is this?

Because likely at the time of this story women didn't have the rights they do today in life.

So, a male perspective makes more sense simply because males had to do most of the fighting and dying. Arya is one of the few female Fighters in this series and she pays a terrible price to become the fighter she is in life.

It's a lot like women have now begun to have the same psychological problems and health problems of men worldwide that have embraced a more masculine perspective of life since the 1950s too. Women had different problems before about 1960 and the birth control pill.

Before then women couldn't become men because they might get pregnant when they didn't want to be.

Now all that has changed so women can be like men now if they want to be.

Hopefully, this will start to make more sense within 100 years or so. It's hard to say.
