I have the feeling that things are not going to end well for anyone in Hong Kong

There is this (9-11) feeling about Hong Kong right now where the protestors refuse to let Hong Kong be like China with no rights at all. So, this might well end up being another 9-11 in Hong Kong with the city left burning and incapacitated so no one wants to live there anymore.

Why?

Rather than giving up their good lives for no rights at all, I believe the protestors would rather burn Hong Kong down rather than end their human rights under China. The longer this goes on the more likely this scenario becomes.
