Will The Bahamas even be there in any form tomorrow after a storm like this hits them?
This is the biggest storm on earth in 2019 by the way.
So, underestimating it's affect on Florida, the Bahamas, Georgia and the Carolinas could easily be fatal for people with a storm with winds this high sustained.
By the way the gusts in this storm go to above 200 mph.
If you cannot stand up in over 100 mile per hour winds without holding onto a tree or roped to something, it might be important to know that being out in 200 mph winds simply is not survivable at all. Even at 100 miles per hour branches and aluminum siding and poles and debris is flying by you and will impale people if they don't see it coming and get out of the way. So, in a 200 mph wind if you are not in a cement reinforced shelter somewhere the likelihood is you are already dead.
