Since most operational nuclear power plants in the U.S. are now East of the Mississippi River the U.S. should start closing all our obsolete ones too before people start dying in droves from radiation leaks.
Just look at how P,G & E was originally bankrupted by the San Bruno Gas main explosion and all the fires started by their lines coming down in winds. Other utilities will be brought down Nationwide by gas main explosions and radiation leaks eventually from obsolete nuclear power plants too. Even though likely a lot of information on Nuclear power plants will be suppressed by the government for a variety of reasons from now on.
