...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM PST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Southeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts 60 to 70 mph.

* WHERE...Southern Monterey Bay and Big Sur Coast and San
Francisco Peninsula Coast.

* WHEN...Until 3 AM PST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be
difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strongest winds are expected around
the southern half of the Monterey Peninsula southward along
the coast through Point Sur, including the areas of: Carmel,
Pacific Grove, Pebble Beach, Point Lobos State Reserve,Carmel
Highlands, and Garrapata State Park. Gusts here could approach
or exceed 70 mph.
People should avoid being outside in forested areas and around
trees and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of
your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Use caution if
you must drive.
