How does one become an Intuitive?

I think part of it is how your natural instincts and intuition work in the first place. It's sort of like some people are physically and psychologically suited to being athletes. Well. Becoming an intuitive is like this too. The problem is that many many people have the skill set but not the inclination to go in that direction.

I myself likely wouldn't have chosen to go in this direction even though I have a perfect skill set for this kind of thing if I hadn't had whooping cough at age 2 and blunt trauma childhood epilepsy. These two illnesses FORCED me to use my deepest instincts to survive these things. And this forever changed who I would become in the future.

Being an intuitive can be like having a PHD in deeper understandings of people than about 99% of the people around you. It doesn't mean you are an extrovert unless you are one. I don't tend to be an extrovert but my wife is. However, if you are 6 foot 5 inches tall and nice looking (at least since I was 15 and got my front teeth capped which were broken in a bicycle accident) I have stood out and people can't miss me because by 15 I was at least 6 foot 1 or 6 foot 2 even then and didn't reach my full height until I was about 22 of 6 feet 5 inches tall. But, I have found just standing someplace and not smiling at all keeps me safe physically from almost anything. So, I find I can protect people around me the best when I don't smile at all and thereby become a potentially intimidating person in scary situations. Protecting people often is no more than not smiling and being 6 foot 5 inches tall to begin with.

But, my wife is very very outgoing and a natural mentor of young people whether they are college age or high school or even grade school and I find I can assist her in this mentoring which she is very good at because she has a master's degree in business and two Bachelors in Art.

For me, becoming an intuitive had more to do with loving nature than anything else. When I was 15 I went to Yosemite National Park with a friend and his family and my friend and I got a week with no one supervising us hiking in the wilderness up to places like Vernal Falls and California Nevada falls and all over Yosemite and I really found God in Yosemite by just being left alone to wander in the wilderness with a friend who was also more quiet like myself at that time. So, I mark this time where God fully showed himself to me in a physical place like Yosemite as where my life started to make sense to me finally and this is where I began to really be an Intuitive like I am now.

For example, I can be very talkative as a person but I'm not usually comfortable when I first meet people. My experience as a young person was that most people just cannot be trusted so that has carried throughout my life.

When people try to kill you as a child you don't forget that. Or if you do you are pretty stupid and might not live very long.

Being an intuitive saves one's life and those around one as long as they will listen to you. That's the biggest problem I find as an intuitive. You cannot save the lives of people who don't listen to what you say.

This is any intuitive's biggest sadness. To watch people die or be maimed for life because they don't listen to you when it is important that they should. Because part of being an intuitive is seeing the future (or more correctly seeing possible futures coming). Because parts of the future cannot be changed and other parts can. And the whole point is being in sync with God and angels so you know what is allowed to be changed and what isn't allowed to be changed.
