Because unless you are tested before you die you are not counted by most groups here in the U.S. This is also true worldwide by the way. So, the less tests available the less people's deaths are actually counted.
For example, if you didn't have health insurance or couldn't prove you had health insurance then you wouldn't be tested even if you begged to be tested in the waiting room of a hospital while you were dying without treatment. and this is also true worldwide at this point as well.
So, if you want an actual number of people who died of coronavirus you have to look at 100,000 to 150,000 as a much more realistic number at this point than the figure we are presently given. Remember people in California started dying of this on February 6th 2020 when we were only testing people who had been to China at that point. So, people who had not been to China were already dying in California who hadn't been to Wuhan China at that point at all.
in the following report they are estimating that 14% of the people in New York States have been exposed to Coronavirus at this point. So, there are 19.45 million people in the state of New York. So, 14% of that number is 2,723,000.
So, two million seven hundred and twenty-three thousand people likely have had coronavirus in new York State or are now carriers for it. And each of those 2,723,000 people could easily spread this to 4 new people each which would be: 10,892,000
or ten million eight hundred ninety-two thousand people.
