In N Out Burger in Atascadero, California. People not wearing masks

I was probably more surprised than I have been so far about people "NOT WEARING MASKS" yesterday as we drove north from Santa Barbara. My wife wanted to stop at an In N Out burger which if you haven't been to California is a really great Burger place where they make french fries from scratch each time they are made so they are never frozen for months first like most other places.

But, what surprised me was that only about 1 or 2 people (this includes me wearing a mask) was actually wearing a mask while sitting at the crowded seating outside or walking into the place to buy their burgers and french fries and malts and shakes and lemonade and stuff.

But, it's true there were also extenuating circumstances like it was over 100 degrees Fahrenheit outside too. But, still I was very surprised to see almost no one with a mask on to protect them and others from coronavirus.

So, I put on my bandana and walked by them all feeling sort of strange at seeing no masks on people but I also understood wearing a mask at over 100 degrees can be a little much if you spend more than 5 minutes outside during the coronavirus. So, I spent my 5 minutes outside wearing my bandana and got back into my truck and turned the Air Conditioning back on. My wife likes them because the first
of the burger chain was in Pomona when she was in college in the 1970s. So, she used to go to it with her college friends then.
