Could Jesus have attained his state of Enlightenment through evolving through Reincarnation?

To me, it makes complete sense that Jesus would have lived previous lifetimes to attain his enlightened state to become Jesus the Christ. It is unlikely that someone could attain a state like him in just one lifetime.

Also, Jesus said, "Even greater things than these shall ye do" which indicates that others will eventually do greater things than he did which also alludes to reincarnation likely too.

So, he meant for others to attain enlightenment at his level through 'good works' and "the Good Grace of God"
