Resident Alien is a lot of fun but it wouldn't happen that way

 Here's the thing. Earth is a Galactic National Park and has been for millions of years, maybe 100 million years or more so far. So, what you see in Resident Alien isn't going to happen here unless it is galactic criminals trying to do something like this. 

How would the galaxy stop something like in this series? Maybe the lightning strike isn't far off actually but they would do something simple like this to change the outcome whether it was a lightning strike or they would alter time to prevent harm to humans and especially to the ecology of earth which is a Galactic Park like I said for about 100 million years or more already. Earth has always been a very special place in the Galaxy. And presently we are viewed sort of like you and I view the Wild life in Yellowstone or Yosemite National Park. In other words we are protected species (in other words they will cull us when necessary) (probably like right now this century) so we don't accidentally destroy the ecology of earth through overpopulation.

This is what appears to be going on right now the last year or so by the way.
