Adapting to all the Changes

 I used to watch CNN TV a lot but now I find it just too discouraging to watch anymore. Sometimes I can watch Rachel Maddow because she often can put things in a format that is interesting and entertaining but CNN just is so depressing that I find mostly I can't watch news much anymore. I can read about it because I can filter what I want to deal with but just watching the news seems to depress me too much to continue doing that anymore much at all. Even the NBC Nightly News I find sometimes too much to watch. 

However, in a printed online format I can choose to look at or edit any article and it protects more my sensibilities. So, I can still be informed without being so overwhelmed with all the changes. 

I don't really know what will happen to our country but if history is any guide what usually happens is that the states start pulling apart like they have into being their own countries and then something like World War II happens and everyone joins together to survive that.

However, because of nuclear weapons big wars like that that unify the country are unlikely to happen and often the Pipeline causing people to run out of gas from Texas to the East coast or a major meat packing company shutting down from it's cyberattack too is what will be the new World War and this is unlikely to galvanize the country into being one nation again like World War II did.

So, it is possible that what we will see over time is states becoming their own country like Texas becoming a country or maybe Texas, Louisiana, Georgia, North and South Carolina becoming a country and then New York and the north Eastern States being the same country as California, Oregon and Washington. I'm not exactly sure what will happen to all the other states that much.

But, without some unifying event it is possible we will see the U.S. fragment into smaller countries with states like California maybe becoming it's own country or Texas becoming it's own country or New York State becoming it's own country (depending up on who is president then and what their politics are).
