This is the temperature record in Death Valley from 2020: But, if this weather now is any indication they could break it again in August or September 2021

One of the hottest air temperatures recorded anywhere on the planet in at least a century, and possibly ever, was reached on the afternoon of August 16th, 2020, at Death Valley in California's Mojave Desert where it soared to 130 Fahrenheit (54.4 Celsius).
