What was my Vision Quest of 4 days or 96 hours like?

I was fighting my mind for the first 2 days. My mind kept saying to me: "You are going to die! You cannot do this! You have to at least drink water to not die!"

However, I was disciplined and kept on with my no water and no food vision quest and starting the 2nd night I began to have visions that are tied to you basically starving while dying of thirst for 4 days. It triggers survival responses not only throughout your body but also in your mind. So, your mind creates visions that show you what you need to do next in life.

While you are going through this type of experience you also reach what is called: "Non-ordinary experience".

During this Non-ordinary experience I experienced being one with nature and the deer and the birds and I saw a mated pair of Bald Eagles flying over head and I saw a mother wood duck and all her ducklings swim down river at dawn every morning and then swim upriver into the bull rushes at dusk every night to be safe from predators. I found myself eating the sunlight reflected off the river instead of food or water.

Remember this is non-ordinary consciousness. Two meat eating hornets kept trying to fly up my nose. Because I was in non-ordinary consciousness I telepathed with them and told them they could fly up my nostrils and clean the dust out of my nostrils but if they stung me I would kill them both. So, I let them crawl up my nose and clean my nostrils and then they did as we agreed and flew away not bothering me anymore.

I could never have managed doing this in ordinary consciousness for example.

My relationship with myself and with all life on earth changed while doing this vision quest. I realized people are much stronger than I once believed but also vulnerable in ways I didn't expect as well.

So, these 4 days made me much more of an adult and caregiver of all life on earth and beyond. I took my place as a father and as a grandfather to all beings during these 4 days and ever since.

I saw my place in the universe and grew up.
