IF Variants are going to be continually generated by Covid then:

 Does that mean we need to be vaccinated for the most recent Variant that is killing people?

This might mean this exactly. So, it is possible when there are several variants out there (at the same time) that you might only be vaccinated for one of them?

This seems to be getting more and more confusing by the day with all the different variants out there so far. 

However, one saving grace might be that most people right now on earth are dying specifically from Delta Variants. But, there are other variants out there right now and only Omicron is as contagious or more contagious (unknown yet) than the Delta Variants. (I say Delta Variants because there are more than one of these).
