Vaccines may or may not be effective against Omicron variant from South Africa

They are not sure any vaccines will be effective against the Omicron variant from South Africa. So, we have to wait and see what happens. I wrote yesterday about how cases of this have been found already in Hong Kong and if it made it to Hong Kong it also means because of flights to the U.S. that it is also present in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle, and Los Angeles to a greater or lesser degree already too.

So, banning those 7 countries around and including South Af]ricans from flying to the U.S. will only slow down the virus about 1 to 2 weeks time. There is literally no way to stop it from spreading all over the world already just like when Delta Variants started kicking the whole world's rear end too with all the deaths.

We are just incredibly lucky here in the U.S. to have vaccinated so many to prevent more Delta Deaths.

Now, let's hope that vaccinations also stop Omicron too enough so that most Americans can survive it long term.

I"m seeing that the world is dying from attrition now from the virus. We all aren't dying at once but with an endemic Virus with over 1000 dying every day that's 365,000 per year even now.

If you multiply that by 10 years time that's 3,650,000 people dead just here in the U.S. If vaccines don't work anymore on Omicron that also could mean most people gone in 10 years on earth.
