Why would Putin have 75% of his total ground forces deployed against Ukraine unless he plans to take more than Ukraine?

This is what doesn't make any sense to me at all. Unless he is like Hitler planning to take over more or even all of Europe through some kind of Blitzkreig.  What's going on?

I think NATO should be prepared for a potential ground invasion of more than Ukraine at this point.
