Lots of Fog along the coast lately

Where I live it has been foggy a lot the last 3 days or so.  Mark Twain's famous quote about San Francisco could apply if this keeps up which was: "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco".

Because of global Climate changes fog could theoretically be starting 3 months early? I'm not really sure or not whether this is the case. However, instead of the foggy season starting in June which we call locally the June Glooms often in the past few years they have started (because of global Climate changes in April or May instead of June. So, it's theoretically possible that this year they are going to start in late March? Maybe. Not sure yet.

My daughter and I drove inland so we could see the sun and took our dog for a walk in a local park where the sun was out and it was 72 degrees Fahrenheit. But, when we left home it was 50 degrees and foggy. Luckily when we returned the Fog had finally burned off and it was sunny unlike the previous three days.

But, we had to drive about 10 miles or more inland to see the sun from here where we live on the northern California coast.

The really positive part of all this is all the trees and bushes and flowers get wet in the fog so when I get up in the morning my deck to my back yard is completely wet from the drizzle from the fog. So, all the wildlife benefits from all the moisture in the Fog and it keeps the coastal Pine and Oaks and Redwoods and ferns a lot happier this way especially in the worst drought now since 1871 (at least for any January, February or March) of any year since then.
