One quote I gave from another article said that there are 16 nuclear power plants. However, the actual reality is that there are 16 reactors at least and the Zaporizhzhia plant contains six of them.
So, there are NOT 16 nuclear power plants in Ukraine but there are 16 reactors of which 6 are at the Zaporizhzhia plant . There are 4 presently operating nuclear power plants and there is Chernobyl which is still an unlivable disaster area since 1986 when it blew up and melted down there inside Ukraine.
So, the real facts on the ground there is that there are 16 nuclear reactors (not including Chernobyl meltdowns) in 4 presently operating Nuclear power plants throughout Ukraine. Most of these are Soviet Era Nuclear power plants by the way. So, most are older.
