However, I don't think the Russian people will let Putin do this for a variety of reasons.
Here is the first reason:
1. As 10,000 to 15,000 Russian soldiers come back in body bags soon (or don't come back at all because their bodies are left to rot and eaten by dogs, wolves and wild animals and insects instead, mothers are going to raise living hell with their husbands and their government.
1A so I think Putin will be forced to end this war (at least for the Russian public) by May 8th or 9th which was when they defeated Hitler. It is a very important day for Russia and for the old Soviet Union then.
2. The Rouble is still worth almost nothing compared to what it was before the war.
It's only worth 1.2 cents in American money per rouble.
(The Rouble is a Russian equivalent of an American Dollar for Russia) so you can see how bad it would be if a Dollar was only worth 1.2 Cents.
