Free Speech regarding the Internet is a tricky thing if you want democracies to survive it: For example, "you can't yell fire in A theater".

"You can't yell 'Fire!' in a theater unless there is actually a fire. Why?

Because people will get injured or die if you do in reality. It isn't funny if people die because of one person's incompetence or ignorance.

The same is true of Musk Saying: "Free Speech is the foundation of Democracy" and you know theoretically he is right about that.

HOWEVER,

we have seen the mess that Trump has made of all this in the January 6th insurrection where they wanted to hang Vice President Mike Pence and Murder Speaker Pelosi. This could have really happened if Trump had had his way by the way.

So, theoretically Musk is right but in actual practice buying Twitter might be the end of our U.S. and world Democracies depending how cuckoo or slow acting Musk might be in regard to actual threats to our democracies worldwide. Especially because it looks like we could be entering World War III with first Russia and later China.

So, unless our country and government can move really fast things could get out of hand much worse than January 6th 2021 in minutes or hours because of the worldwide Internet.
