I'm pretty sure Putin was behind the Supreme court leak

Why would he do this?

To collapse the faith of the American people in one of the branches of government.

By effectively ending any faith at all in justice from the Supreme Court he effectively has ended any faith whatsoever in the Supreme court for around 75% of the American people who actually want Abortion rights to continue here in the U.S.

Without the support of the 75% of the American people the effectiveness and usefulness of the Supreme court is over (for all intents and purposes) (if they overturn Roe V. Wade) after 50 years of it being the law and precedent of the land would be over either temporarily or permanently. 

I'm not sure how the people who released the information to the press or how much they were paid by Putin's Government will ever be found.

However, this is a typical KGB approach to overthrowing any government on earth they don't like and also it's important to realize that the U.S. Government (especially under Nixon used these same kinds of dirty tricks on governments we didn't like then either through the CIA.

So, we know it all happened but likely whoever released this information will either leave the country or disappear one day so this likely will never be traced effectively. The new version of the KGB wouldn't leave any one alive here in the U.S. that could trace this back to them.
